Nice & South is a graphic design studio set up by designer Allan Deas. Although better known for his distinctive illustration work Allan also works in various other styles across multiple design disciplines, namely apparel print & graphic design.

Nice & south is where you can find all of this side of his work.

Allan & the Nice & South studio work across many areas of print & graphic design from fashion graphics, repeat print & T-shirt / placement designs for kidswear, menswear & womenswear to point of sale, display graphics, branding, logos, packaging & more!

With over 20 years experience under his belt Allan Deas has worked for a wide array of clients across several design areas from fashion to graphic design, editorial, advertising, publishing & interiors.

Allan relocated to London from Scotland in 1999 after graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone Art School to pursue a career in design. Despite moving 'south' this is not where the studio name comes from, actually after discovering that 'deas' in fact means both 'south' in Scottish Gealic AND 'nice' in Irish it seemed a fitting tribute to his Scottish & Irish heritage to combine the two meanings of his surname & thus 'Nice & South' was born.

The studio offers graphic design solutions for most project big & small. With his experience working in fashion & editorial Allan is very experienced with working closely with the client to create the desired result within the required timeframe & with minimum fuss.

Interested in new and exciting projects the studio is always up for a challenge & Allan plans to expand the business in new areas in the future.
